Marine Groove, inspired by Escada Marine Groove (2010)

Passion fruit dominates from the first spray, tangy and wet rather than syrupy. Peony and jasmine come in lightly behind it, adding a floral blush without changing the direction. Musk in the base gives a clean, skin-like finish. The opening is the loudest part and recedes fairly quickly, leaving a gentle fruity musk.

About the original

Escada announced Marine Groove in November 2009 as its limited edition for summer 2010, so some sources date it 2009. The name suggests sea spray, but the notes and reviews point to tropical fruit. The sources we checked do not name its perfumer. Fans still ask Escada to re-release it, and as of 2026 it has not been reissued.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Escada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Beachgoers and fans of very sweet, playful scents are the natural audience. If you expect an aquatic or salty fragrance from the name, this is not it.

Has Escada re-released Marine Groove?

Not as of 2026. Escada has reissued some older summer editions, but Marine Groove is not among them.
