Absolute Aphrodisiac, inspired by Initio Parfums Privés Absolute Aphrodisiac (2015)

Vanilla is the centre of gravity, rich and edible, but Initio pairs it with castoreum, a note that smells leathery and animalic. White flowers and amber add warmth around it, so the vanilla never feels thin. Musk ties the base together and softens the animal side. Perfume databases also list leather, which fits the darker character of the drydown.

About the original

Absolute Aphrodisiac belongs to Initio's The Absolutes collection and is sold as a 90 ml eau de parfum made in France. Databases date it to 2015 and credit Alexandra Kosinski, though Initio itself does not name a perfumer. The brand describes opulent vanilla, musk and castoreum, with the castoreum giving a provocative edge.
