Stars, inspired by Jimmy Choo Stars (2014)

Candied orange opens Stars with a glazed, sugared citrus note, and tiger orchid adds a lush floral sheen. Toffee sits at the centre, caramelised and dense. Patchouli and sandalwood give the sweetness an earthy, woody floor, which is what makes it a chypre gourmand: a dessert note held up by a dry, darker base.

About the original

Jimmy Choo released Stars in August 2014 as a limited-edition flanker of its 2011 eau de parfum, in 60 and 100 ml. The theme came from the brand's Star accessories collection. It keeps the toffee and patchouli structure of the original but adds a sweeter, more sparkling opening. That limited run has ended, while the original Jimmy Choo eau de parfum remains on sale.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Jimmy Choo stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Sweetness is the point here, and there is plenty of it, so this is for women who enjoy caramel and candied notes. The patchouli adds an earthy depth that some gourmand fans may find heavier than expected.

Yes. It launched in August 2014 as a limited edition and is no longer produced.

How does Stars differ from the original Jimmy Choo?

Both share toffee and patchouli. Stars adds candied orange and orchid at the top, which makes the opening sweeter and more sparkling. We make both.

Does Stars smell of caramel?

Yes. Toffee sits at the heart, so a caramel sweetness is central to it.

Is Jimmy Choo Stars coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Jimmy Choo about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
