Lolita, inspired by Lolita Lempicka (1997)

Anise and licorice set this apart from other sweet perfumes, giving a herbal, candied edge. Violet and cherry add a sugared floral and fruity tone, while iris lends powder and ivy a cool green touch. Vanilla, praline and tonka bean form a rich base, with white musk and vetiver taking off some of the weight. One perfume writer compared it to a fizzy licorice, sugared almond and praline sweet that never turns sticky.

About the original

Annick Menardo composed Lolita Lempicka's first fragrance, launched in 1997 in an apple-shaped bottle inspired by the fairytales of the designer's childhood. The scent was later renamed Le Premier Parfum (2010) and Mon Premier Parfum (2017, for its 20th anniversary). Around 2020 the brand reformulated it as a vegan version presented as the return of the original; the brand currently sells Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum alongside Mon Premier Parfum. Many longtime wearers say the later versions differ from the 1997 composition. This page takes the 1997 scent as its reference.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lolita Lempicka stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Expect a clearly candied scent, though the same review judged it calmer and more delicate than Mugler Angel. Licorice and anise are an acquired taste, so it is worth sampling first if those flavours are not a favourite.
