Vanilla and sandalwood make up the base, and this is where the sweetness collects. Many descriptions also mention a coffee accord, though coffee is not in the brand's own note list.

About the original

Rochas launched Rochas Man in 1999 in a frosted glass bottle with a metal cap. Fragrance databases usually credit Maurice Roucel as perfumer, although the brand's own page names no one. Fragrance databases class it as a 1990s gourmand, citing a coffee-and-vanilla accord. Rochas fragrances are now licensed to Inter Parfums.
