Tribeca, inspired by Bond No. 9 TriBeCa (2020)

TriBeCa starts on raw cacao and a green, slightly unripe hazelnut, closer to a chocolate bar with whole nuts than to a frosted dessert. Jasmine sambac then rises through the middle, its heady white-flower sweetness sitting alongside dry cedar. The base turns to caramel, with ambroxan (a clean, mineral amber note) and a little moss stopping it from becoming sticky. The overall effect is sweet but grounded.

About the original

TriBeCa launched in May 2020 at Saks as a unisex eau de parfum, named after the Lower Manhattan neighbourhood. It is credited to Michel Almairac. Bond No. 9 describes it as a floriental, a floral built on warm, ambery materials. The scent is also sold in a Swarovski crystal bottle, which holds the same fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bond No. 9 stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Chocolate and nut lovers who want a gourmand with a floral side are the likeliest fans. Jasmine gives it a floral centre, so it reads less like pure confectionery. White-flower sceptics and caramel avoiders should sample it first.

No. The Swarovski crystal bottle holds the same TriBeCa fragrance; only the presentation differs.
