Fleur D'Oranger 27, inspired by Le Labo Fleur d'Oranger 27 (2006)

Orange blossom is the subject from start to finish. Lemon and bergamot open it with a zesty glow, and petitgrain, made from the leaves of the same bitter orange tree, connects that citrus to the flower. The blossom itself is fresh and floral with a slight green edge. As it settles, musk smooths the edges and leaves a clean finish.

About the original

Françoise Caron composed Fleur d'Oranger 27, one of the scents Le Labo opened with in early 2006. The brand says it took more than three years to compose and describes it as sensual. It remains part of the Classic Collection.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Le Labo stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of white florals who find tuberose or jasmine too heavy are the obvious match. It suits spring and summer best, and the citrus and musk keep it airy. Orange blossom never leaves the stage, so a buyer who dislikes that flower should look elsewhere.
