Oud works here as a woody base rather than a smoky one, giving the bouquet weight without darkness.

About the original

Louis Vuitton released Fleur du Désert for Ramadan in 2022, taking an oasis in the Saudi Arabian desert as its theme. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud composed it for the house's Middle East-inspired oud line, which also includes Ombre Nomade. It is still on sale.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Louis Vuitton stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Someone who likes oud but not smoke is the natural wearer, since the flowers and honey lead. Its sweetness is pronounced, which may feel too rich next to a dry, austere wood.
