Gentle Fluidity Silver, inspired by Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Silver Edition (2019)

Silver opens greener and spicier than its Gold twin, with juniper berry giving a gin-and-pine clarity and nutmeg a dry, peppery warmth. Coriander seed adds a citrus-like spark. Instead of sinking into vanilla, the scent moves towards amber woods, a clean, mineral woodiness, with the musks keeping the edges smooth. Vanilla is present only as a faint softener in the base.

About the original

Silver is the second half of Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Gentle Fluidity duo, launched in 2019. Both editions use the same six ingredients; in Silver, nutmeg and amber woods dominate. The brand calls its trail vibrant and comfortable. It is still sold as an Eau de Parfum, alongside the Gold Edition.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Maison Francis Kurkdjian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Anyone who finds Gold too sweet should try this edition, the drier of the two. It reads fresh, spiced and woody, and a buyer wanting an enveloping vanilla-musk will find Gold closer to the mark.

Is this the Silver or the Gold Gentle Fluidity?

This page is the Silver Edition, the nutmeg and amber-woods version. The Gold Edition, which we also make, is warmer and leans on musk and vanilla.

Is Gentle Fluidity Silver sweet?

Only a little. It contains vanilla, but nutmeg, juniper and amber woods lead, so it reads dry and fresh.
