Imagination, inspired by Louis Vuitton Imagination (2021)

Imagination begins with citrus, listed in fuller note pyramids as citron, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange. Underneath sits what LV calls a reinvented amber accord, built on Ambrox, a modern material with a dry, ambery-woody glow, and black tea extracted with CO2, which adds a tannic depth. Ginger and cinnamon give the heart a fresh spiciness. The overall effect is fresh rather than heavy.

About the original

Imagination launched in 2021 as a Louis Vuitton men's fragrance by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and is still on sale. LV highlights two materials, the large dose of Ambrox and the CO2-extracted black tea. Monogram Imagination is a separate edition and not the reference here.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Louis Vuitton stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

A man who wants something fresh but more polished than a sporty citrus would suit it. The tea and Ambrox base keeps it dry, so it will feel lean to someone hoping for a sweet amber.
