Imperial Peacock opens on marzipan-like almond with a tart flash of rhubarb, while heliotrope adds a powdery, cherry-pie softness. Cinnamon arrives early and stays, which keeps the sugar and vanilla from going flat. The brand lists it as black vanilla, a deeper, darker take than the usual milky vanilla. Balsams in the base give a resinous, glowing finish.

About the original

Alexandre.J, a luxury house, released Imperial Peacock in 2022 as an eau de parfum in its Art Nouveau collection. The brand presents it as a niche perfume and sells it in a gold-engraved bottle with a peacock motif, packed in a leather and silk case. A 25 ml extrait de parfum version was added later. Alexandre.J describes the scent as sensual, balancing sweetness with a sense of mystery.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Alexandre.J stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Sweet-tooth wearers who enjoy cinnamon will feel at home here. It is plainly sugary and rich, so it may not suit someone who prefers airy or citrus scents.
