Intense Café

Intense Café, inspired by Montale Intense Café (2013)

The name points to coffee, but rose is what comes forward first, opened by a haze of floral notes. Coffee then threads through the heart, roasted and slightly bitter, giving the rose a darker, café-au-lait tone. Amber, vanilla and white musk form a smooth, powdery base that leans sweet.

About the original

Intense Café was released in 2013 and is credited to Pierre Montale by fragrance references. Montale describes its trail as known worldwide, and a flanker, Ristretto Intense Café, followed, along with a body cream and candle. This page refers to the original Intense Café, not the Ristretto version.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Montale stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

A rose lover curious about gourmands is the natural fit. Coffee fans hoping for a dark espresso scent may find the rose and vanilla take up more room than expected.
