L'Homme A La Rose, inspired by Maison Francis Kurkdjian L'Homme À la rose (2020)

Grapefruit opens it with a tart, slightly green bite, and clary sage, a herb with a musky, tea-like aroma, keeps that freshness from turning sweet. Two roses follow: Damascena, which is spicier and more fruity, and centifolia, which is rounder and honeyed. Rather than drifting into powder or jam, the rose is held up by amber woods, giving the drydown a dry, slightly mineral woodiness.

About the original

Maison Francis Kurkdjian added L'Homme À la rose to its À la rose collection in 2020 as the line's men's fragrance. The brand describes it as a fresh, luminous and characterful rose, fusing grapefruit's green freshness with Damascena rose. It sits beside À la rose (Eau de Parfum) and L'Eau À la rose (Eau de Toilette), both marketed to women and both separate compositions. It is sold as an Eau de Parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Maison Francis Kurkdjian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.
