Oud Zarian

Oud Zarian, inspired by Creed Oud Zarian (2025)

Bergamot and ginger cut a bright path into Oud Zarian before frankincense adds its cool, peppery resin. Centifolia rose gives the heart a velvety floral body. Oud takes over from there, dry and woody, with patchouli and sandalwood beside it and myrrh deepening the resinous side. Liquorice root and tonka add a dark, slightly sweet warmth that shapes the finish.

About the original

Creed announced Oud Zarian in August 2025, with availability in its US boutiques from 2 September. The composition is built around oud aged for 80 years, and Nose Paris reports that Olivier and Erwin Creed selected the essences. Creed classifies it as woody, ambery and spicy and lists it as a men's fragrance. It is a separate scent from Creed Royal Oud, the unisex oud released in 2011.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Creed stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Men already at ease with oud will find this one rounded by rose and sweetened by liquorice and tonka. It is resinous and dark throughout. Anyone looking for a clean or fresh woody scent should look elsewhere.

How is Oud Zarian different from Creed Royal Oud?

They are separate Creed scents. Royal Oud (2011) is unisex, while Oud Zarian is a 2025 men's release built on oud aged for 80 years, with rose, myrrh, liquorice root and tonka. We make both.

Is Oud Zarian sweet?

Somewhat. Liquorice root and tonka add sweetness to the oud and resins, but it stays woody and spicy overall.
