Reflection 45, inspired by Amouage Reflection 45 Man (2021)

Spice comes first, juniper berry and cardamom with pink peppercorn, while clary sage and lavender give it an aromatic edge. Neroli and orris shape the heart, the orris powdery and rooty, the neroli green and floral, with jasmine and angelica beneath. Tonka bean and vanilla add a gentle sweetness before vetiver and patchouli steer the scent towards woods and resin.

About the original

Reflection 45 Man is the Exceptional Extrait version of Reflection Man, the 2007 woody floral musk. Amouage describes it as a richer reading of that scent, with spicier top notes and more textured florals, made at a 45% oil concentration and matured for weeks before bottling. A retailer dates it to 2021 and credits Lucas Sieuzac as perfumer, though Amouage's own pages do not confirm either.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Amouage stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Compared with the original Reflection Man, it is denser and more resinous, so men who found the eau de parfum too clean may prefer it. The orris gives a noticeable powdery quality, which not every wearer enjoys.
