Soleil Neige, inspired by Tom Ford Soleil Neige (2019)

Bergamot opens brightly, steadied by carrot seed, which has an earthy, rooty tone. Jasmine grandiflorum and orange flower then bring a clean white-floral heart, with Turkish rose in support. Musk and benzoin soften the base, while labdanum, a resin from the cistus shrub, gives it an ambery depth and vanilla a faint sweetness. Tom Ford frames the effect as sun reflecting off snow.

About the original

Launched in winter 2019, Soleil Neige was presented as the polar counterpart to Soleil Blanc, inspired by the Courchevel and Megève ski area. The official press release calls it a citrus floral musk and does not name a perfumer. The Eau de Parfum is still part of the Private Blend range. Tom Ford reportedly added a Parfum concentration in late 2024; this page refers to the original Eau de Parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Tom Ford stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Winter is the brand's own setting for it, with imagery of the slopes and après-ski, yet the scent is light and clean rather than heavy. It is marketed as unisex. White florals and musk dominate, so anyone wanting a resinous or spicy cold-weather fragrance may find it too polished.

How does Soleil Neige differ from Soleil Blanc?

Tom Ford presented Soleil Neige as the winter counterpart to Soleil Blanc, built as a citrus floral musk around the image of sun on snow. We also make Soleil Blanc.

Does it smell of snow or anything cold?

Not literally. The snowy idea comes through clean musk and white flowers, with bergamot at the top.
