Symphony, inspired by Louis Vuitton Symphony (2021)

Ginger leads, fresh and peppery in the way of a freshly cut root rather than dried spice. Grapefruit runs alongside it with a tart, slightly bitter brightness. Bergamot and orange fill out the citrus, and Louis Vuitton speaks of a fruity, velvety feel underneath the zest. The structure is simple and clear, built on just four named notes.

About the original

The scent arrived in October 2021 as part of Les Extraits Collection from Louis Vuitton, composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, with a bottle designed by the architect Frank Gehry. The collection also includes Cosmic Cloud, Dancing Blossom, Rhapsody and Stellar Times. A limited Murano Art Edition of 40 bottles followed in December 2022. The original is an extrait sold only through Louis Vuitton, which does not assign it a gender.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Louis Vuitton stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Ginger gives it more spice than a plain citrus cologne, and an effervescent feel. Louis Vuitton calls it intense freshness. With no listed base notes beneath the citrus, it can feel lean to anyone used to ambery citrus scents.
