Apple peel and green leaves give the first minutes a crisp, stem-and-leaf freshness, as if the roses had just been cut. Red rose then takes over, kept from turning heavy by geranium, which smells rosy too but with a green, slightly minty edge. Citrus adds lift at the start. The base is a powdery musk, clean and quiet.

Fresh Cut Roses is a long-running Yankee Candle floral fragrance, which the brand likens to an English garden full of fragrant roses. It is sold as jar candles in several sizes, a Studio Collection candle and a wax melt, and it is a home scent rather than a perfume. Yankee Candle publishes a simple top, heart and base breakdown for it, which this page follows.
