The Story Behind the Scent

Pecksniff's, an English apothecary style house, created Mistraal as a fresh, breezy scent, pairing crisp citrus with cool marine notes and a smooth woody base.

Our interpretation follows that idea. We keep the citrus and bergamot crisp up top, let sea notes and a soft violet carry the middle, and finish on a clean musk, cedar and amber base.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

The original is a designer release. We build ours at a higher perfume oil concentration so the fresh notes last longer, while keeping the same clean character.

How close is it to Pecksniff's Mistraal?

It follows the fresh, aquatic woody character of the original closely. It is our own interpretation rather than a copy, but the impression is very familiar.

Is it stronger than the original?

We build ours as an eau de parfum with a high perfume oil load, so most people find it projects and lasts as well as, or better than, the original release.

Is this the same perfume as Pecksniff's Mistraal?

No. We do not use the same formula or ingredients. It is an independent interpretation made to evoke the same style, so you can enjoy the character at our price.

How long does it last?

You can expect several hours on skin. Spraying onto clothing as well as skin helps it last even longer.

How should I apply it?

Spray on pulse points such as the wrists, neck and inner elbows. A light spritz on clothing makes it last through the day.
