Nashi Blossom, inspired by Jo Malone London Nashi Blossom Cologne (2016)

Nashi is the Japanese name for Asian pear, a round, crunchy fruit with a watery sweetness, and the pear note here has that same crisp, thirst-quenching quality. Apple joins it, while lemon cuts through with a clean zest. Underneath, rose and white musk make a pale, airy floral backdrop. It never tips into jam or sugar.

About the original

Nashi Blossom came out as part of Jo Malone London's limited-edition Blossoms series, the brand's seasonal spring collections, and a May 2016 trade report describes it as a limited edition in a collectable bottle. It returned in the limited 2023 Blossoms collection. The official product pages have since been withdrawn, and the brand's Blossoms page currently shows no limited-edition scents available.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Jo Malone London stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fruity-floral wearers wanting something clean and uncomplicated are the natural audience. It was a spring release and feels light and airy. The fruit reads juicy rather than syrupy.

It was a limited-edition Blossoms release, first in spring 2016 and again in 2023, and it is no longer in Jo Malone London's range.

Is Jo Malone London Nashi Blossom coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Jo Malone London about a new re-release since the 2023 Blossoms collection. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
