Pour Femme Intense, inspired by Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme Intense (2013)

Tuberose is what sets this apart from the 2012 Pour Femme. Neroli and green mandarin open it freshly, then orange blossom and tuberose form a richer white-floral heart. The base is marshmallow and sandalwood, giving fans a fluffy, cloud-like sweetness. Critics, on the other hand, find it overly powdery.

About the original

A year after Pour Femme, Dolce & Gabbana released this intense version in 2013. Laetitia Casta starred in the campaign, photographed by Mario Testino. It is not related to The One Intense, Devotion Intense or Q Intense, which are still sold. Pour Femme Intense is no longer listed by Dolce & Gabbana and is reported as discontinued.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dolce & Gabbana stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

The marshmallow base makes it sweet and powdery, so it is best for those who enjoy gourmand florals. Tuberose and powder are both prominent, so a sample first is wise if either gives you pause.

So far, we have found no announcement from Dolce & Gabbana that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
