Tropical Cherimoya

Tropical Cherimoya, inspired by Jo Malone London Tropical Cherimoya Cologne (2018)

Pear opens it, green and slightly tart, before cherimoya takes centre stage. Cherimoya, also called custard apple, is a tropical fruit with a buttery, lactonic flesh, and it brings a hint of coconut with it. Passion flower adds a floral note in the heart. The base is copahu balm, a mild tree balsam, with the vanilla-like sweetness of tonka bean.

About the original

Tropical Cherimoya was released in May 2018 as a limited edition in Jo Malone London's Hot Blossoms collection, offered in 30 and 100 ml. It was available for a limited time only. In 2024 the brand released a cologne called Sunlit Cherimoya in its Blossoms collection, under a different name, and we have not treated the two as the same scent.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Jo Malone London stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Lovers of creamy, fruity scents will enjoy how soft and rounded it feels. It was released as a summer edition. Its milky, lactonic texture is distinctive and may not suit someone who prefers crisp, zesty fruit.

It opens with green pear, slightly tart and fresh.

The heart is buttery cherimoya with passion flower, smooth and lightly tropical.

Copahu balm and tonka bean finish it, balsamic and gently sweet.

Is Jo Malone Tropical Cherimoya discontinued?

It was a limited edition, available from May 2018 in the Hot Blossoms collection, and is no longer produced.

Is it the same as Sunlit Cherimoya?

Not necessarily. Sunlit Cherimoya is a 2024 cologne with a different name, and we have not been able to confirm that it shares the formula. Our scent takes the 2018 Tropical Cherimoya as its reference.

Is Jo Malone London Tropical Cherimoya coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Jo Malone London about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
