Want Pink Ginger was a brighter, fruitier flanker to Dsquared2’s Want, turning up the sparkle with citrus and a lively ginger spice. Like the rest of the Want line, it has since been discontinued, leaving only scattered stock. Our interpretation keeps this cheerful, spicy scent available.

How It Smells

This is a sunnier, zestier take on warm spice. It opens bright and juicy, with tangerine and lemon giving a sparkling citrus lift over a vivid, peppery ginger. A soft floral heart of rose and powdery heliotrope warms it and smooths the spice into something prettier. The base settles into a sweet amber, creamy vanilla, and gentle woods, lending a cosy, lingering finish. The overall feel is playful yet warm, a spicy floral with a bright, fruity smile.

Our interpretation rebuilds Want Pink Ginger at 40 percent perfume oil, a far higher concentration than the lighter eau de toilette and eau de parfum sprays most people know, where the actual oil content is often only a small fraction of that. Made in the EU to careful standards, it is formulated to track the character you remember while giving you stronger projection and noticeably longer wear on skin. Because the oil load is so high, a little goes a long way: one or two dabs at the pulse points is usually enough for the day, and the scent unfolds slowly through its top, heart, and base over many hours rather than burning off within the first one.
