Fahrenheit Le Parfum, inspired by Dior Fahrenheit Parfum (2014)

Violet opens it, with the cool, slightly metallic tone familiar from the 1988 Fahrenheit. Leather follows quickly, though here it is less strident than in the original. As the woods come through, bourbon vanilla absolute starts to dominate, giving a smouldering, rounded depth. Overall it plays as a gentler, warmer Fahrenheit.

About the original

François Demachy created this Parfum-concentration version in 2014, keeping the violet and leather signature of Jean-Louis Sieuzac's Fahrenheit from 1988. Dior lists it as Fahrenheit Parfum, while some markets use the name Fahrenheit Le Parfum. A launch review noted how the vanilla tames the original's edge. It is a separate fragrance from Fahrenheit 32 and Fahrenheit Absolute.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Wearers who found the original Fahrenheit too harsh are its natural audience. Vanilla is prominent, and some people feel it takes over the drydown. Fans of the 1988 version's drier bite may miss it here.

No. This page is the 2014 Fahrenheit Parfum. The 1988 Fahrenheit eau de toilette, Fahrenheit 32 and Fahrenheit Absolute are separate, and we make all three.

Is Fahrenheit Le Parfum the same as Fahrenheit Parfum?

Yes, both names refer to the same 2014 release. Dior's own listing calls this Parfum-concentration version Fahrenheit Parfum.

Is it sweeter than the original?

Yes. The bourbon vanilla makes it rounder and sweeter than the 1988 eau de toilette.
