Legend Red

Legend Red, inspired by Montblanc Legend Red (2022)

Legend Red opens with blood orange, which smells deeper and slightly berried compared with ordinary orange, paired with tangy grapefruit and a green spice of cardamom. The heart turns aromatic: juniper berries bring a gin-like crispness, clary sage a herbal note and cedar a pencil-shaving dryness. Mahogany, a smooth reddish wood accord, and tonka bean round out the base with a gentle, almondy sweetness.

About the original

Montblanc released Legend Red in 2022 as an Eau de Parfum flanker of Legend. Press coverage credits Anne Flipo and Nicolas Beaulieu, though Montblanc has not confirmed this on its own pages. Launch reviews focused on the contrast between its citrus top and the polished woods underneath. It is a separate scent from Legend, Legend Blue, Legend Elixir and Legend Spirit.
