Noir Extreme Parfum, inspired by Tom Ford Noir Extreme Parfum (2022)

Cardamom gives the start a cool, almost eucalyptus-like spice, and Shimoga ginger adds a zesty, peppery heat. Tonka bean, which smells of almond and hay, rounds the middle into something sweeter. Guaiacwood, a wood with a smoky, slightly tarry tone, holds the base. Amber, spice and wood stay pressed close together throughout, and the effect is sweeter than it is fresh.

About the original

Tom Ford Beauty announced Noir Extreme Parfum as its latest Signature fragrance, launching in September 2022, although some fragrance databases date it to 2020. It is a flanker of Noir Extreme, the 2015 eau de parfum, and the brand positions it as a bolder, parfum-concentration take on that scent. Its published notes centre on cardamom, ginger, tonka and guaiacwood. It remains in the Signature collection.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Tom Ford stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Someone after a crisp or citrus-led fragrance will find it too dense, since its character is sweet-spicy from the start. Tonka gives a noticeable sweetness, with guaiacwood adding a smoky dryness underneath.

This page is inspired by Noir Extreme Parfum, the 2022 parfum-concentration flanker. The original Noir Extreme eau de parfum (2015) is a separate product, which we also make. Our version of either is an eau de parfum.

Tom Ford released it at parfum concentration and calls it bolder. Its published notes focus on cardamom, ginger, tonka and guaiacwood.
