Tempfluo, inspired by Nishane Tempfluo (2022)

Tempfluo opens fresh but slightly bitter, as saffron cuts through bergamot and mandarin. A lush white-flower heart follows, pairing jasmine sambac, the rounder and fruitier jasmine, with orange flower. Praline then pulls the florals in a gourmand direction, and one press review picks out a caramel and milk-chocolate facet. Cashmere wood, cedar and vanilla close it smoothly.

About the original

Tempfluo, Esperanto for 'time flow', was presented at Esxence 2022 as part of Nishane's Time Capsule Collection. It was Anne Flipo's first work for the house. The brand's notes place praline in the heart alongside the white flowers, and the same press review mentions occasional traces of black leather.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Nishane stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

White-floral fans with a sweet tooth are the obvious match. Press suggests the Time Capsule line for colder months. The praline and vanilla make it richer and sweeter than a classic jasmine, which may not suit someone who wants a clean, green floral.
