Orange Marmalade, inspired by Jo Malone London Orange Marmalade Cologne (2024)

Orange peel hits first, oily and zesty, the moment the knife cuts through the rind. Bitter orange brings a darker, pithy note that stops it from becoming a simple juice. As it dries down, woods and patchouli settle in and give the citrus a comforting backdrop. The perfumer's aim was a balance of bitterness, zest, warmth and comfort, and the scent holds that tension well.

About the original

Orange Marmalade first appeared on 1 July 2024 in a limited-edition Jo Malone London x Paddington collection, inspired by the bear's marmalade sandwiches. It was the brand's main summer release that year. Marie Salamagne created it, with Nicolas Bonneville also credited in the 2025 press release. In 2025 Jo Malone London announced its permanent return from August that year.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Jo Malone London stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Citrus fans who find most orange scents too sweet are its natural audience. The bitter, pithy edge is deliberate, and someone after a sunny, sugary orange may find it more marmalade than juice.

How does it differ from Orange Bitters or Orange Blossom?

Those are separate Jo Malone colognes. Orange Marmalade is built on orange peel and bitter orange over patchouli, aiming for the bittersweet feel of marmalade.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
