Nina Rouge, inspired by Nina Ricci Nina Rouge (2019)

Raspberry opens it, tangy and a little sharp, with citrus brightening the edges. Gardenia brings a rounder, rich floral body, and ginger flower adds a spicy-green glint that stops the heart from turning heavy. Then the dessert side appears: caramel and bourbon vanilla, sweet and smooth, which dominate the drydown.

About the original

Olivier Cresp composed Nina Rouge, a flanker of Nina (2006) that arrived in August 2019 in a red version of the apple bottle. Nina Ricci describes it as a gourmand fruity floral. The version sold today is marketed as vegan, with 91% natural-origin ingredients. Nina Rouge Crush, a later Eau de Parfum with cherry and vanilla, is a separate fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Nina Ricci stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Compared with the original Nina, this one is sweeter and more dessert-like, so it suits wearers who want fruit and caramel above freshness. Its sugary base may feel heavy-going to those wary of gourmands.

Is Nina Rouge the same as Nina Rouge Crush?

No. This page is based on Nina Rouge (2019), an Eau de Toilette. Nina Rouge Crush is a later Eau de Parfum flanker with cherry and vanilla.

Nina Rouge is sweeter, with raspberry, gardenia and a caramel-vanilla base. We also make the original Nina.
