Elixir 11, inspired by Kayali Elixir | 11 (2018)

Elixir 11 starts with red apple and rose petal, sweet and lightly fruity. The heart pairs rose de mai with jasmine sambac for a full, sunny floral middle. Indonesian patchouli then gives the base an earthy depth, while amber and vanilla keep it smooth. Retail copy described it as one of the lighter scents in the original Kayali line.

About the original

Elixir 11 was one of four fragrances that launched Kayali, then part of Huda Beauty, in November 2018, alongside Vanilla 28, Musk 12 and Citrus 08, all created with Firmenich. No individual perfumer is credited. Retail copy says it was designed for layering with the other Kayali fragrances. Kayali has made no public statement about it, but it is no longer listed in the brand's online range and some retailers show it as sold out. Its launch-mates Vanilla 28 and Musk 12 are still sold.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Kayali stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Rose lovers who find single-note roses too austere are the natural audience, since the apple and vanilla sweeten it. Patchouli gives the drydown an earthy, slightly dark edge, which may surprise anyone expecting a purely pretty floral.

Is Kayali Elixir 11 discontinued?

Kayali has not announced anything, but Elixir 11 no longer appears in its online range and some retailers show it as sold out. Vanilla 28 and Musk 12 from the same 2018 launch are still sold.

Is this related to Oudgasm Chocolate Oud 11?

No. They share the number 11 but are unrelated: Elixir 11 is a 2018 fruity rose, while Oudgasm Chocolate Oud is a 2025 gourmand oud. We make both.

Which scents was Elixir 11 meant to be layered with?

It launched in a set of four with Vanilla 28, Musk 12 and Citrus 08, and was designed to pair with the other Kayali fragrances.

Is Kayali Elixir 11 coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Kayali that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
