X Neroli Limited Edition, inspired by Clive Christian X Neroli (2020)

Neroli, the oil distilled from bitter-orange blossom, gives the opening a green, slightly bitter brightness. Tuberose follows in the heart, lush and heady, though the neroli stops it feeling dense. A cashmere accord, a woody-musky blend with a felt-like texture, forms the base, and musk gives a sweet, clean finish.

About the original

Clive Christian released X Neroli in spring 2020, launching it alongside 1872 Mandarin. Press described it as a reworking of the house's X, and its tuberose and cashmere notes match X Feminine more than X Masculine. Only 1,872 individually numbered bottles were made, sold only in the UK. It does not appear in Clive Christian's current range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Clive Christian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

It was launched as a spring release, and the green neroli opening fits that timing. Tuberose fans who find the flower overpowering on its own may like how the citrus blossom lifts it. Anyone after spice or woods will find little here beyond the musky base.

Press described X Neroli as a reworking of Clive Christian's X. Its tuberose heart is closer to X Feminine; X for Men is a spicier, mossy woody scent, which we also make.

Is X Neroli for women or unisex?

Retailers disagree: some list it for women, others as unisex.

Is Clive Christian X Neroli Limited Edition coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Clive Christian about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
