Jacques Polge composed it as a brighter, fresher, more athletic interpretation of the original profile, with aldehydes giving an unusual fizzy lift, neroli leading the citrus opening, and a sea notes accord providing the aquatic freshness that defined the masculine launches of the early 2000s. The pepper, amber, and white musk drydown keeps the composition from feeling generic. Today it remains one of the most reliable warm weather masculines on the market.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

Aquatic compositions need fidelity in their marine accord, which is one of the harder things to source in synthetic form.
