Dioriviera, inspired by Dior Dioriviera (2023)

Two materials do almost all the talking: rose and fig. Dior sets the petals against green fig leaves, and the contrast is the point, flower against leaf, sweet against slightly bitter. Fig leaf smells green and sappy, closer to a crushed stem than to ripe fruit. The result is fresh and sunlit, meant to recall the sun and breeze of the French Riviera.

About the original

Dioriviera arrived in 2023 as the first La Collection Privée scent developed by Francis Kurkdjian for Dior. The name had already been used since 2020 for Dior's summer fashion capsules. Dior classes it as a floral fruity and calls it joyful and festive. Launch sizes were 40, 125 and 250 ml; it is now sold in 50, 100 and 200 ml.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Despite the summery name, Dior describes it as wearable all year, so it is not only a holiday scent. Its mood is cheerful rather than formal. Fig leaf has a faintly bitter greenness that some people read as vegetal, which is worth knowing if green notes are not to your taste.
