Ilio, inspired by Diptyque Ilio (2024)

Prickly pear leads, a fruit with watery, gently sweet flesh that is less sugary than peach or berry. Bergamot adds citrus sparkle at the start. Jasmine opens up beneath, and iris lends a delicate powder that keeps the fruit from feeling sticky. The result is airy and sun-washed, more beach than fruit bowl.

About the original

Diptyque launched Ilio on 30 May 2024 with its Summer Collection, illustrated by the artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. The name means sun in Greek, and the house frames the scent as a relaxed moment on the Mediterranean coast. A hair mist and a face and body mist were released alongside the eau de toilette. The 2024 launch bottles were limited, but the fragrance itself is still on sale.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Diptyque stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Summer is the season Diptyque has in mind, and the airy weight suits heat. Its lightness is the point, though it may feel slight to some.
