Printemps Blanc, inspired by Maison Mataha Printemps Blanc (2025)

Grapefruit gives a tart, slightly bitter opening that lifts the orange blossom accord around it. Jasmine sambac, the rounder and fruitier of the two common jasmines, takes the centre, and white tea adds a pale, faintly green dryness that keeps it airy. Sri Lankan sandalwood and vanilla then make the base smooth and a little sweet.

About the original

Released in 2025, Printemps Blanc belongs to Maison Mataha's Collection Fleurs Manifestes and, like the house's gourmand line, was composed by Vincent Ricord. Its name means 'white spring'. The brand calls it luminous and contemporary, and the original is an extrait de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Maison Mataha stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

White-floral fans who want jasmine without heaviness should look at this one, as grapefruit and tea keep it light. Maison Mataha positions it as a spring scent. The vanilla base adds sweetness, though far less than the house's Escapade Gourmande.

How does it differ from Escapade Gourmande?

They share a house and a perfumer but sit at opposite ends: Escapade Gourmande is a burnt-sugar vanilla, while Printemps Blanc is a fresh white floral with only a little vanilla in the base.
