Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper, inspired by Kayali Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper | 25 (2021)

Pink pepper comes first, fizzy rather than hot, and saffron adds a leathery, honeyed spice. Bergamot and royal lily keep the top airy before two roses, Bulgarian and Centifolia, take over the heart. Magnolia and vanilla orchid sweeten them gently. The drydown lays sandalwood and patchouli under musk and golden amber, giving the rose a glowing, resinous finish.

About the original

Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper launched in April 2021 as Kayali's first intense fragrance, an Eau de Parfum Intense. According to Huda Beauty, the idea grew out of a smelling session with Firmenich in 2018. Kayali's site credits perfumer Gabriela Chelariu, and the brand calls it an electric floral woody creation.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Kayali stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Rose wearers who enjoy spice will get on with it best, because the pepper and saffron are central rather than decorative. Golden amber and patchouli give the base real weight, which may feel dense to lovers of light florals.

Is Sweet Diamond very sweet?

Less than the name suggests. Vanilla orchid and amber sweeten it, but pink pepper, saffron and patchouli keep the rose spicy and grounded.

What concentration is the original?

Kayali released it as an Eau de Parfum Intense, its first intense fragrance. Ours is made as an eau de parfum in 50 or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
