Dark cherry and apricot open it on a fruity, almost compote-like note. The heart is where the gourmand side shows: a spiced, milky accord the brand calls 'cinnamon cloud', like cinnamon stirred into hot milk. Vanilla and golden amber close it, sweet and resinous.

About the original

Amber Romance is a long-running Victoria's Secret body mist, made as a 250 ml fragrance mist with no eau de parfum version. It now sits in the Classic Fragrance Mist range, where the brand classes it as an 'Amber Gourmand' and describes it as 'radiant & nostalgic'. Older descriptions list different notes from the current ones, so it may have been reworked, though we have seen no brand statement on that. When it first appeared has not been verified.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Victoria's Secret stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Cinnamon and vanilla define it, so the mood is comforting rather than fresh. Cinnamon is the note to test first if spice in sweet scents tends to bother you.
