Damask rose is the whole point of this composition, presented as fresh, velvety petals. Italian mandarin gives the first minutes a juicy citrus sparkle that sits easily with the flower. As the citrus fades, musk comes forward and wraps the rose in a smooth, clean finish. With only three documented notes, it stays simple and transparent throughout.

About the original

Rose belongs to Roger & Gallet's Eau Parfumée Bienfaisante line, which the brand links to its original Eau de Cologne formula; it was earlier sold as an Eau Fraîche. According to the brand, it uses natural rose essential oil and 93% ingredients of natural origin. Roger & Gallet has made several roses, so this should not be mixed up with Rose Imaginaire (2012) or Rose Mignonnerie (2018).
