Si, inspired by Giorgio Armani Sì Eau de Parfum (2013)

Sì leads with blackcurrant nectar, dark and tart, set against clean, dry patchouli from the start. The floral heart is understated: freesia and May rose stay light and soft. Vanilla gives the base a powdery roundness, while musky woods and ambroxan keep the chypre outline intact. It is sweet, but in a measured way.

About the original

Christine Nagel composed Sì for Giorgio Armani in 2013, the house's first major women's launch since Acqua di Gioia in 2010. Some markets, including the US, received it in early 2014. Armani classes it as a fruity chypre, and its current description pairs blackcurrant nectar with a musky white woody chypre accord. A large family of flankers has followed, among them Sì Passione, Sì Intense and Sì Parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Compared with La Vie Est Belle, to which it was likened at launch, Sì is quieter and less sugary. It feels medium-rich, sweet enough to comfort and dry enough to stay composed. Patchouli sits beside the fruit from the first spray, which is worth knowing if earthy notes bother you.

Is Armani Sì similar to La Vie Est Belle?

Sì was compared with it at launch, as both pair fruit and patchouli with a sweet base. That comparison found Sì quieter and less sweet, with a drier chypre structure.

Which Sì is this?

The original Sì eau de parfum from 2013, not Sì Passione, Sì Intense or Sì Fiori, which we make separately.
