Sexy Amber has a short, clear formula. White flowers give it a creamy floral face, while amber provides the glow beneath and sandalwood a smooth woody body. Because the note list is so brief, the impression is of one blended texture rather than distinct stages. It leans powdery as it settles, with a faintly soapy cleanness.

About the original

Michael Kors introduced Sexy Amber in August 2013, one of a trio launched with Sporty Citrus and Glam Jasmine. Harry Frémont composed it, according to brand information quoted at launch. The brand presents it as warm amber wrapped in sandalwood and layered with white flowers. It should not be mixed up with Sexy Ruby or Sexy Sunset, which are separate scents; Sexy Amber is still sold by Michael Kors.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Michael Kors stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its rounded amber reads polished and close to skin. It has more powder than fruit, and some wearers find it a little soapy.
