Sun Song

Sun Song, inspired by Louis Vuitton Sun Song (2019)

Sun Song uses the orange tree in three forms: the blossom, neroli distilled from it, and petitgrain, taken from the leaves and twigs, which smells green and slightly bitter. Lemon gives the top a zesty lift. As the citrus fades, musks carry the floral heart to a clean, smooth finish.

About the original

Sun Song was part of Louis Vuitton's first cologne trio in April 2019, with Afternoon Swim and Cactus Garden, composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in packaging by Alex Israel. In June 2025 LV reissued it as an eau de parfum in 100 ml and 200 ml, in a yellow-to-orange gradient bottle with a transparent case. Louis Vuitton has not said that the scent itself changed.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Louis Vuitton stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

With orange blossom at its centre and no heavy base, it appeals most to people who like cheerful, fresh florals, and LV positions it as a summer scent. A wearer wanting a richer orange blossom might prefer Stellar Times.

Is the current Sun Song the same as the 2019 version?

Louis Vuitton released Sun Song in a new bottle in June 2025 and has not announced a change of formula. Our scent takes the current Sun Song as its reference.

How is Sun Song different from Afternoon Swim?

Afternoon Swim is citrus, led by orange and bergamot. Sun Song centres on orange blossom with neroli and musks, so it is more floral.
