Bare Vanilla, inspired by Victoria's Secret Bare Vanilla (2018)

Bare Vanilla opens briefly with bergamot and apple blossom before the sweetness arrives. Spun sugar and white orchid give the heart a fluffy, confectionery feel. From there it becomes mostly vanilla, whipped and musky rather than boozy or smoky, resting on a layer of amber. Users often compare it to vanilla cupcakes.

About the original

Bare Vanilla belongs to Victoria's Secret's fragrance mist range, where the brand classes it as a gourmand and describes it as 'warm and comforting'. Databases date it to 2018, although a mist of the same name seems to have existed earlier. Later flankers include Bare Vanilla Intense and Bare Vanilla Vacation, both from 2025. Victoria's Secret Bare, a 2022 perfume, is a different scent.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Victoria's Secret stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

As a cosy, sugary vanilla it is popular for layering with other scents. Expect sugar and vanilla from start to finish; if you want vanilla with smoke, spice or tobacco, this is the gentler kind.
